2005- 2006 : Director, Institute of Fine Arts, university of Dhaka.
2008-2011 : Chairman, Drawing and Painting Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, university of Dhaka.
01-09-1978 (Date of joining). Joined as Lecturer, Department of Drawing & Painting, Faculty of Fine, Arts, University of Dhaka. Now continuing as a most senior Professor.
