Software Sales Manager (New Business, Finance, Software, Applications) – HOME BASED

A leading UK FTSE 100 provider of IT solutions and services are looking to hire a talented Sales Manager to join a rapidly expanding New Markets & Accounts sales team.

The focus of the Sales Manager (Finance, Software, Applications) will be to realise the significant growth potential for a bespoke built finance suite; a financial software application solution that is used by over 150 clients throughout the UK.

These financial management solutions have been successful in winning against Tier 1 solution providers in an existing Public Sector market, and as their cost of support and management continues to challenge organisations that are seeking to improve financial efficiency and bottom line profit, they see huge potential to target new market verticals.


The opportunity for the successful candidate is to build upon our proven success and be part of the investment in growth and deals will range between GBP200k to >GBP1m.

Purpose of the Sales Manager (Finance, Software, Applications):

  • Proven management capability for a similar sized team of sales professionals
  • Ability to identify, create and close new business opportunities
  • Creation of business growth plans underpinned by experience in delivering them
  • Effective personal and team pipeline management with metrics applied

Experience for the Sales Manager (Finance, Software, Applications):

  • 4+ years sales management experience in a services or outcome driven sales environment (prior direct sales
  • experience of minimum 8+ years)
  • Development and mentoring capability
  • Understanding of sales methodologies (preferably Altify/TAS)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience in selling business outcome led opportunities
  • Knowledge of the Private and Public Sectors
